After graduating in 2005 with a bachelor's degree in Information and Computer Science and a certificate in Web Mastering, I opened Aspire Web Studio to serve the businesses, organizations and individuals of Los Angeles and beyond with quality, custom web design services. Since then, I have been given the opportunity to work in a variety of industries, including Hollywood's entertainment and music industry, publishing and media-related industries, retail and non-profit organizations.

My portfolio consists of web sites in the following categories:

Unless otherwise noted, I was responsible for designing all aspects of these sites, including the company logo, menu system, Flash animations, shopping cart, forms and overall look-and-feel.

Brochure Sites

Brochure sites are informational sites about a company, product or individual. They are usually small (less than 10 pages) and are intended for those whose primary business interactions occur offline, but who still need a professional web presence for marketing or other purposes.

E-Commerce Sites

E-Commerce sites are for businesses, organizations or individuals who sell products or services through their web site. E-commerce sites include a secure shopping cart feature, which enables the site to accept online orders and process the credit card payments instantly. The shopping cart is powered by a database, which stores the products, orders, shipping rates and other settings. It also includes a web-based administration system for easy access and management of this information.

Database sites are similar to e-commerce sites in that they are powered by a database, however, not all database sites are involved in e-commerce activity; they may just provide information to users or links to other sites. Database sites usually include a sophisticated search function.
